My Idol

Everytime when someone asks me who your idol is, needless to say , my idol is Tim Duncan . The following are my reasons .

First , there is no doubt that he is the best basketball player among the NBA players . He is good at not only offense but also defense ,which is hard to do both well for any basketball players nowadays . So every team is afraid of playing with Spurs ,especially when Tim Duncan is on fire , no one can get scores from his defense and no one can stop him getting scores ni the pain . Second , though he plays so well ni basketball , he is quiet and polite , just like a gentleman in the race .He never yells at other players or play tricks on them no matter what kind of circumstances take place .I think there are few players can do this like Tim Duncan in such competitive games .In addition ,he established a foundation for people who suffer from cancer . Because his father died of cancer ,he is determined to do something for those painful people .

For these reasons ,Tim Duncan affects me a lot .Perhaps I wouldn't play basketball as occupation in the future ,but I will learn his spirit and be a guy like him in my life .
